Its not a surprise that I am a pasta lover (I didn’t get the Pasta Queen nickname without reason). And there’s no good pasta without its share of #Authenticitaliancheese

This play on a Cacio e Pepe is made with Italian Piave. A very special cheese which gets its name from the Piave River in Northern Italy.

Piave is similar to parmesan reggiano but is creamier and has a slight nutty aftertaste.

Did I also mention Piave is naturally Lactose free?! Making this recipe good for those Intolerant #winwin. Also save those rinds to add for soups, broths or sauces for some added umami flavor!
